Introducing our newest aparthotel – Native Edinburgh!

In December 2020 we added to our repertoire of aparthotels across the UK and introduced Native Edinburgh. We’re thrilled to have taken over the management of Edinburgh’s Kintore House on Queens Street, previously known as Mode Edinburgh aparthotel.

Found in city’s historic New Town, our aparthotel in Edinburgh is a real gem of a place, with cobbled streets, Grecian pillars, sandstone façades and formal squares. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mix of classical architecture, grand squares and terraces, gardens and secluded lanes, means that a walk through its streets is a journey back in time to an age of elegance. It’s a must-see place for new visitors to Edinburgh.

Walk into Native Edinburgh and the part-neo-classical, part Georgian lobby gives way to clean lines, modern décor and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. There are 82 apartments to choose from: Studios, One Bedrooms and Premium One Bedrooms. Each and every one has its own fully equipped kitchen, complete with fridge and hob, luxury toiletries and fresh linens and plush Hypnos® bed. Some of our apartments are adjoining via outer corridor, making the perfect for groups and families. We also have a fitness suite for home workouts, a communal lounge, a meeting space and communal laundry room for the studio apartments.

We’re on Queen Street, just a quick cab ride or leisurely stroll from both Haymarket and Waverley Stations. Here you’re less than five minutes’ walk from Princes Street for shopping, ten minutes from Edinburgh Farmer’s Market to stock up your kitchen and 12 minutes from The Scottish National Gallery and The Royal Scottish Academy. You couldn’t be more centrally placed for a weekend in Scotland’s capital.

One of Native’s Edinburgh’s best features is access to one of the city’s many – and much coveted – private gardens. These secret oases of calm are the hidden lungs of Edinburgh, where some of Scotland’s greatest thinkers, artists and writers have wandered and pondered and, in some cases, still do. Take a book, take a picnic, take a photo or two. The locals will be green with envy.

If you’re planning a tour of Scotland then don’t forget to drop into our boutique hotel in Glasgow, the ideal base to explore many of the country’s most beautiful walking spots.

Following the successful launch of our aparthotel in Manchester in 2019 – which proudly won The Sunday Times Best Hotel of the North 2019 – we are excited to now be operating in Scotland’s two greatest cities.

We’re open for bookings from 1st December 2020.
