    IT Support Analyst

    The IT & iGNite team drives operational efficiency at Native through the provision of first class technology solutions to our staff at our offices, our customers and guests at the apartment blocks that we operate.

    We provide a broad range of support covering network, hardware, telephony, software, data and reporting services to internal staff.

    We have also designed and launched a Property Management Software called iGNite, used by staff to sell and operate our portfolio of properties, that we manage and support.

    We have a small internal team of 5 members, including this role, working with a network of suppliers. You must be a proactive and independent worker with good team skills.

    Responsibilities

    IT Service Desk Support

    Provide first line support to colleagues for issues reported through the IT service desk, either directly, by telephone or by email. This to include network, telephone, hardware and wider software support.

    Escalation of issues

    Escalate issues to the wider project team when necessary, liaising internally with team members or externally with developers as necessary.

    Helping to manage the work of third party hosting and support providers

    Liaise with third party teams on a regular basis, helping to ensure their work is prioritised, procuring services where necessary, that internal actions are understood and implemented, weekly project calls are undertaken and periodic reviews are carried out.

    Project Management

    Assist in the planning and management of a variety of projects to improve IT services, efficiency and provide new features to the Native staff.

    Data Management

    Create and maintain data records related to key IT systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal obligations.

    Communicating to Stakeholders

    Create and issue regular updates to the wider business to ensure staff understand the impact of IT changes and any training points that are relevant. You’ll be communicating with end users of the software and leaders of the business.

    Proactive involvement in the on-going life of Native

    Proactive and regular involvement in meetings.
    Take the lead on agreed initiatives where appropriate.

    Competencies

    You will be analytical and possess good problem solving skills. In addition, you will have a keen interest in IT and have a proactive and customer focused outlook.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills and experience of working in a pressured environment.

    You will be comfortable working both independently, as part of a team and taking the lead where necessary for designated projects.

    Work experience

    Essential

    • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a relevant role
    • Knowledge of Operating Systems, networks, printing, telephony and connectivity services
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Azure, Office, Sharepoint etc)
    • Experience of working in a helpdesk environment or customer service environment.
    • Demonstrable experience of working in a challenging role where responsibility was held for delivering a business requirement and where that requirement was delivered to a high standard.
    • Good customer service skills and communication skills
    • Strong organisation skills

    Desirable

    • Customer or support service experience preferably in a hospitality / travel /software / technical field
    • Active Directory Administration
    • Network support experience
    • Software testing experience
    • Project management experience of small – medium sized projects
    • Procurement experience

    Personal circumstances

    Ability to work full time Monday – Friday 9:00 – 5:30.

    Skills, knowledge and qualifications

    Essential

    Educated to A level standard or equivalent, with good passes in relevant subjects.

    Fluent in written and spoken English.

    Desirable

    Degree, preferably in IT related subject.

    Location

    Must be able to work from Notting Hill Gate, West London, with occasional flexibility with working hours or location within London to support projects or issues when required and occasional regional and national travel.

    Start date

    Must be available to start mid-January 2020, a DBS check may be required for this role.
