Hello there,

If you’re looking at our ad for Night Porter you’d probably like to spread your wings and do something a little bit different.

We are opening our brand new property Native Manchester, where we offer beautiful, fully equipped apartments in the heart of Manchester. We’re not corporate, we’re friendly and great to work with.

At NATIVE, we operate great serviced apartments, apart-hotels and long-term residential lettings all across London, Glasgow and Manchester. And we do it differently. We craft spaces that reflect the history of the building and the spirit of the neighbourhood. We’re not corporate, we’re friendly and great to work with. We take guest experience really seriously…but we’d never say “Sir” or “Madam”. We’re as far from cookie-cutter as you can imagine.

Right now, we’re on a quest to find a Night Porter to join our busy Operations teams. You’ll be looking after a whole range of guests (and their varied needs!) who book their stays through a mix of corporate, online and direct channels.

Every day is different. You’ll be responsible for your property overnight, make sure we meet our guests’ expectations – from arrival, to departure and return. You’ll be responsible for guest satisfaction and ensuring any queries are resolved promptly and efficiently. You will have a good understanding of health and safety to ensure we keep our guests safe overnight.

If you want to be our next Native, you’ll probably have:

  • Previous experience of working nights
  • A bright and clear communication style
  • Experience of Guest Services or Hospitality
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and ideally PMS software
  • Good negotiation and listening skills
  • Good attention to detail
